It runs under 40dB, so it can sit in a bedroom overnight.

There's no app and no settings menu. Press the button and the light shows it's working. When the tank is full, it stops by itself and the FULL light comes on – slide the tank out, tip it away, slide it back.

Will it fix black mould?

It reduces the damp air that mould needs, which helps stop it coming back. Existing mould still needs cleaning off. For a whole flat with serious damp, a large compressor dehumidifier is the right tool – this one is for single rooms.

How often do I empty it?

In a damp room, roughly every 1–2 days. It switches itself off when full, so it can't overflow.
